OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AWAM CHANDRA KIRTI LING, PERTH AUSTRALIA
Dear Dharma friends and practitioners,
We are deeply delighted to share the joyful news of the founding of Awam Chandra Kirti Ling, a new Dharma centre in Perth dedicated to the flourishing of the Awam Lineage within the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
This centre has been established under the compassionate vision and blessings of His Holiness Khenchen Lama Rinpoche, who inspires us to preserve and transmit the authentic teachings of the Great Perfection (Dzogchen), loving-kindness, and wisdom.
Guided by Rinpoche’s vast vision, Awam Chandra Kirti Ling aspires to become a sanctuary for genuine practice, study, and the cultivation of Bodhicitta for the benefit of all beings.
We are honoured and deeply grateful that His Holiness Khenchen Lama Rinpoche composed auspicious prayers for the establishment of the centre, as well as long life prayers for our resident Lama, Pelden Dawa Dakpa, whose dedicated service and compassionate activity are the heart of this new Dharma community.
The centre is now in the process of official incorporation with the Association of Western Australia, marking an important step toward establishing a stable foundation for its future growth and activities.
We are also overjoyed to announce that His Holiness Khenchen Lama Rinpoche will visit Perth in February 2026 for the official opening ceremony of Awam Chandra Kirti Ling.
During this precious visit, Rinpoche will bestow sacred teachings and empowerments, blessing the land, community, and all who gather to celebrate this auspicious beginning.
Details of the full programme will be released in January 2026.
As this is Rinpoche’s first visit to Perth, we are delighted to offer Australian Dharma practitioners, Rinpoche’s students, and friends the opportunity to make offerings by sponsoring meals (lunch or dinner) for Rinpoche, organizing outings or visits to places of interest around Perth, and requesting private audiences for blessings or spiritual advice.
This is truly a great opportunity and we hope Australian dharma friends not miss this chance to meet Rinpoche in person.
