GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR NEW SHRINE HALL “AWA GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR NEW SHRINE HALL “AWAM GHANGKARAVA” CUM RETREAT ROOMS AT NGAGYUR KYENPO MONASTERY, KHAM TIBET We are pleased to share photos (including layout of new shrine hall cum retreat rooms) from Kham, Tibet on the groundbreaking ceremonial event conducted on 17th July 2024. Ngagyur Kyenpo Monastery is the Official Seat of H.H.Khenchen Lama Rinpoche in Kham, Tibet. Early this year, the current Abbot of Ngagyur Kyenpo Monastery, Khenpo Lhodro has initiated a rebuilding and extension of new shrine hall cum retreat rooms project for its 200 monks residing at the Monastery. The project has been greatly supported by students from Hong Kong and China. Currently, the Monastery has raised sufficient funds to start on the foundation works of the building by this coming Winter.
