Teachings and Transmission in Tar on 11th October 2026
SPECIAL NEWS AND BLESSING!
Teachings and practice on the “Four Roots,” and Initiation and teachings on the Goddess Menmo Javas, led by His Holiness Ati Rinpoche
CHANGE OF VENUE!
THE ENTIRE PROGRAM WITH ATI RINPOCHE WILL BE HELD IN TAR!
We are delighted to inform all interested individuals and Dharma practitioners that His Holiness Ati Rinpoche (Khenchen Lama Rinpoche) will visit our country again on October 11, 2026 (Sunday), to offer us valuable teachings and an initiation during the day.
📿 TOPIC OF THE TEACHING: THE FOUR ROOTS
A Buddhist practitioner takes refuge in the Three Jewels (Buddha – Dharma – Sangha) and the Three Roots (Guru – Deva – Dakini). In the Awam lineage, the Three Roots are complemented by a fourth—the Dharma Protectors—thus forming the Four Roots.
The Four Roots
🪷 Guru – Lama – teacher – the root of the body
In the Awam lineage, the Guru is none other than Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava).
Every Tibetan lineage originates from Guru Rinpoche, and he embodies all Buddhas. Guru Yoga practice involving him is performed at outer, inner, and secret levels. This root is associated with the body.
🪷 Deva – Yidam – meditation deities – the root of speech
The second root is the practice of the Yidam (an enlightened form); within the lineage’s practices, the central figure is most often Manjushri or Dorje Gotrab. This root is associated with speech.
🪷 Dakini – Khandro – sky-dancing spirits – the root of mind
The third root is the Dakini (female enlightened energy); the Awam lineage focuses primarily on Green Tara. Dakinis and Tara serve to avert outer, inner, and secret obstacles, and to swiftly dispel the fears and difficulties of daily life. This root is associated with the mind.
🪷 Dharmapala – Chökyong – protectors – the root of action
In the Awam lineage, King Gesar is revered as the fourth root. King Gesar is a special embodiment of Guru Rinpoche, embodying the wisdom, compassion, and power of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. He is regarded as the supreme protector, offering aid even when other protectors can no longer do so. This root is associated with action.
Khenchen Lama Rinpoche emphasizes that meditation on these four roots, combined with trust placed in them, constitutes the true path to liberation for practitioners.
🌌 VISION AT TARON (SUMMER 2026)
In the summer of 2026, while staying at Taron, Ati Rinpoche experienced a profound and clear spiritual vision: Menmo—a female protector of extraordinary power and a Dakini—appeared before him.
In the Tibetan tradition and the tertön (treasure revealer) lineage, teachings revealed both on-site and through visions possess a unique spiritual freshness, blessing, and direct power—specifically for practitioners of the present age.
💃 WHY IS THE MENMO EMPOWERMENT IMPORTANT?
🌼 As a Dakini and protector, Menmo helps remove outer, inner, and secret obstacles from the practitioners’ path.
🌼 She swiftly dispels fears, anxiety, and the difficulties of daily life.
🌼 She helps unlock the mind’s inner purity and compassionate wisdom.
This empowerment and teaching create a direct connection to the spiritual treasure (terma) revealed at Taron, aiding us in both our daily lives and on our spiritual path.
ABOUT ATI RINPOCHE
He is a direct heart-disciple of His Holiness Khenchen Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche (1933–2004). At the age of three, he was recognized as the reincarnation of the tertön (treasure revealer) Padma Dagnag Lingpa. Ati Rinpoche is a renowned master of dream yoga, possessing the highest level of scholarly training and profound meditative experience.
